Reverend Timothy McGrath

Reverend Timothy McGrath

My name is Reverend Timothy McGrath and i am an Interfaith Reverend/ Minister from Kilternan in Dublin Ireland.  Below is a little piece on my journey thus far.

After becoming a celebrant in 2015 i realised that my journey to something bigger had begun.  That something led me to begin training to become an ordained Reverend with the One Spirit Foundation, finally becoming an ordained minister on 24th July 2021.  Since becoming ordained my ministerial duties include, Chaplaincy work, Hospice care, Teenage Community Support , Spiritual counselling/Companionship, Life Coaching, Weddings, Funerals, and Naming Ceremonies.  Each facet of my ministership is shown the same degree of love, respect, confidentiality, and diligence.  I feel truly blessed to work in all these areas and it is also a huge honour and privilege.  If anyone needs any of the above services from me please feel free to contact me, anytime.  I take my vow very seriously and anyone who stands before me will be met with love and an open heart, no one will be turned away.

About me

I am a fully ordained Reverend with the One Spirit Foundation, but before that i have been, and still am a working musician, drummer/ percussionist.  I have had the great luck to have toured the world with many great artists, and now i have another wonderful part of my life to love, being a Reverend.  I have played with artists including Paddy Casey, Damien Dempsey, Sixteen Layers, Jerry Fish & many more...

I have toured worldwide, supporting U2, Pearl Jam, Bob Dylan, David Gray, R.E.M. & The Pretenders, and many more.  I have met people from all corners of the world and this has helped me to cultivate a real interest in the human condition, and what makes us tick.  I look forward to hearing from you.  Best wishes Reverend Timothy McGrath.

"Kerrigan and I want to sincerely thank you for being a part of our very special vow renewal ceremony.  We took a blind leap of faith when we reached out to you the very first time and since Day 1, you have been attentive, patient, understanding, a great communicator (the list can go on!).  You were honestly a blessing to a very special day for us.  Both you and Niall will forever be a part of our lives and many, many years from now, we hope to tell our children about you and this very special moment we had, celebrating our wedding anniversary in Ireland.

I hope you continue being a Celebrant (and drummer!) for many more years to come because I know you will be a blessing to many future couples."
